Description

VeloFlame is a modern Velocity-CTD fork that introduces up to 122.33% better performance, and anti-bot checks that reduce bot attack CPU impact by 66.67% and reduced memory footprint by a 38.9%. Massive collection of anti-bot + security modules with kernel level anti-ddos and layer 7 protection plus the performance of the Velocity proxy.

Sonar

On early versions, we recommend using VeloFlame along Sonar. VeloFlame will filter attacks with ultra-performance checks before they reach Sonar's slow checks, ensuring maximum security. Soon, the requirement of Sonar will be removed.

Installation

• Replace your Velocity jar with VeloFlame jar.
• Install Sonar as late-check that runs after VeloFlame checks. (UPDATE TO LATEST SONAR!)
• (Reverse Proxy): If you use any kind of reverse proxy, disable Firewall and other anti-bot checks to prevent players from being blocked.

Optimization

Velocity is already fast, but VeloFlame is much faster. We are constantly profiling and simulating big server environments and profile CPU usage in detail to attack those CPU heat-spots and achieve Zero-Impact performance.
