Make a nether portal in any shape (non-square)
This plugin does one simple job: Allow any portal shape to be lit with flint & steel and fill it with portal blocks. It fires a portal creation event, so it's compatible with region management & anything else that would cancel portal creation.

Created nether portals play the portal open sound at a lower pitch, you can disable this in the config.
The search / block mapping functions in this plugin are asynchronous, so it wont slow down your server if you crank the max portal sizes up & spam create portals, it just might take a second to build.
