🛠️ HOW IT WORKS & SETUP
How Does Resource Pack Hosting Work?
The plugin sets up a small, dedicated web server on a different port to host the resource packs. This bypasses common cloud-storage limits and saves time. Running this web server does not impact your server’s performance.
How to Upload a Resource Pack:
- Place the contents: Copy your resource pack files and folders into the designated folder on your server.
- Customize configuration: Open config.yml and ensure the resource pack folder name matches the one specified in the config.
- Apply: Use the plugin commands to package and apply your resource pack!
Configuration Instructions:
Open a port (e.g., 8443) on your server for the resource pack. You can consult your hosting provider for guidance. Enter this open port in the plugin configuration.
Note: Changing the port requires a full server restart (reloading the plugin is not enough).
