🛡️ What Is AliienChatColor, And Why Choose It?
AliienChatColor allows your players to pick the colors of their chat messages, whether it's a single-color message or gradients with multiple colors. You can fully configure it to your liking. This plugin also comes with other built-in features to make your life easier as a server owner, such as its own built-in GUI with a lot of small details (such as configurable sounds, custom action buttons, multiple pages, highlighting the color that the player is currently using, and more), a /cc hex (#hex)command that allows your top-rank players to pick their own single-color chat color cosmetic (this doesn't work with gradients containing multiple colors, otherwise it'd defeat the purpose of you having your configurated chat color), and more that you can explore in the official documentation by clicking here!

1. Highly Optimized: This plugin has been tested and proven to be really good in terms of performance. However, if you still find any issues that were not found during the testing phases please open a ticket in my discord server!
2. Built-In GUI: A completely customizable menu system with automatic pagination, different displays for chat colors that the player have and dont have, a button to clear the current chat color, success/fail sounds, glow to indicate which chat color is currently being used, and more!
3. Custom Gradients Support: This plugin uses MiniMessages, which means that you can use all of its formats in your own chat colors (including gradients, single colors, bold, etc)
4. Custom Hex Command: Reward your highest premium ranks by allowing them to define their own custom chat colors on the fly using the /cc hex (#hex) command (keep in mind that this will only work for singular colors rather than gradients with multiple colors)
5. Powerful Admin Tools: Easily manage your community with the /cc admin command suite. Force-set colors on other players, clear active colors, or safely reload the entire plugin without restarting the server.
6. PlaceholderAPI Integration: PlaceholderAPI is an optional dependency, which means that if you want you can use some of our placeholders outside of the plugin.

⌨️ Commands & Permissions
AliienChatColor provides granular control over exactly what your players and staff can do.

Player Commands:

1. /cc menu (or /cc) - Opens the paginated GUI menu.
   Permission: aliien.chatcolor.menu
2. /cc set - Manually equip a specific chat color from the config.
   Permissions: aliien.chatcolor.set AND aliien.color. (e.g., aliien.color.cotton_candy)
3. /cc clear - Removes your active chat color.
   Permission: aliien.chatcolor.clear
4. /cc hex <#hex> - Equip a custom hex code on the fly.
   Permission: aliien.chatcolor.hex

Admin Commands:
(Base permission for all admin commands: aliien.chatcolor.admin)

1. /cc admin reload - Safely reloads the config and messages files.
   Permission: aliien.chatcolor.admin.reload
2. /cc admin set - Forcefully set a config color onto a target player.
   Permission: aliien.chatcolor.admin.set
3. /cc admin clear - Clear a target player's active chat color.
   Permission: aliien.chatcolor.admin.clear

Other Permissions:

1. aliien.chatcolor.version-notify - Receive in-game notifications when a new plugin update is released.

📋 Available Placeholders

1. %aliienchatcolor_format% - Returns the raw MiniMessage tags (e.g., <#FF0000>)
2. %aliienchatcolor_active% - Returns the raw ID of the player's equipped color (e.g., cotton_candy).
3. %aliienchatcolor_has_(color ID)% - Returns "True" or "False" if the player has permission for that specific color.
4. %aliienchatcolor_name% - Returns the display name of the colors you are currently using.
5. %aliienchatcolor_is_hex% - Returns True or False if the player is using a custom chat color set with /cc hex or not

❓ FAQ

How do I setup this plugin?

• It is pretty simple! Once you load up the plugin, you will have a folder called "AliienChatColor" with 4 different configuration files: config.yml, messages.yml, gui.yml and settings.yml. Which softwares are currently supported?

• Currently I am only supporting Spigot, Paper, Purpur and Folia, although the plugin should also work other Paper forks (such as Pufferfish, which was also particularly tested) - More softwares will be supported in the future.

Is this plugin abandoned?

• No! I am still planning and pushing updates for this plugin, as well as offering permanent support to all my customers through my discord server!

I purchased the plugin, but it doesn't work on my server!

• There could be a few reasons for this, but it is very likely that you are either using it in a no supported minecraft version, or a not supported software. If this isn't the case though, please open a ticket in my discord server and we will figure it out!

📦 Installation

1. Download the latest AliienChatColor.jar from the Releases page.
2. Drop the .jar file into your server's plugins/ folder.
