FeatheredMuseum-promo-dark.pngWHAT IS FEATHEREDMUSEUM?

Every player gets a museum of their own. They donate their rarest items to it, climb museum ranks and milestones, complete collections, and show it all off in a real gallery anyone can walk through — with likes, visits and server firsts to compete for.

FEATURES

  • Donations — Players donate items from /museum, category by category. Each one adds its value to the museum and grants museum XP. Values can be frozen at donation time, items can be taken back (you can turn that off) and valuable ones ask for confirmation first.
  • A real gallery — Walk through any museum in 3D. Items float and spin over their pedestals, and armor sets stand on armor stands wearing every donated piece. Exhibits are shown only to the player looking at them, so two players side by side can walk through two different museums, and nothing is ever saved to the world.
  • A museum in one command — /fmuseum room generate builds a complete classical museum where you stand: portico, colonnade, gallery bays, armor plinths, signs and a Hall of Fame, with every slot registered. Or build your own room and mark its slots.
  • Ranks and milestones — Museum value climbs the ranks, from Visitor to Museum Legend, unlocking new categories, items and museum space. Museum XP fills a Hypixel-style path of milestones, each one claimed with a click. Neither ever goes down, so rewards can't be farmed by donating and taking back.
  • Collections — Complete a category or an armor set for a bonus: extra value, extra XP, reward commands and an announcement.
  • Server firsts — The first player to donate each item is remembered, announced and marked with a star, forever.
  • Likes, visits and leaderboards — Players like the museums they enjoy and visits are counted once per visitor per day. Top lists by value, by visits and by likes, and the top three museums stand as statues in the Hall of Fame. Private museums for players who'd rather not be visited.
  • Rarity tiers — Valuable exhibits glow and sparkle by tier, from common to legendary.
  • Custom items — EcoItems, eco, ItemsAdder, Nexo and MMOItems items, mixed freely with vanilla ones, and any other plugin's items by a tag they carry. The exact item donated — enchantments, names, rolled stats — is what goes on display and what comes back.
  • Dupe-safe — Every donation is saved before the item changes hands, and the database itself refuses a second copy of the same donation, claim or reward. Items owed to players wait in a mailbox until they collect them.
  • Networks — SQLite for a single server, MySQL or MariaDB for a network, with a command to move between them. Redis keeps museums, likes, visits, server firsts and announcements in step across every server.
  • Fully configurable — Every item, value, reward, menu, message and sound is a file you own. Messages use MiniMessage, with hover and click events.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • 1. Donate your rarest items — Open /museum and click an item in your inventory. It goes on display in your museum and its value counts toward your rank.
  • 2. Climb ranks and milestones — Value unlocks ranks, new categories and rewards. Museum XP fills a path of milestones, each one claimed with a click.
  • 3. Show it off — Walk into the gallery and see your collection on its pedestals. Visit other museums, like them and fight for the Hall of Fame.

COMPATIBILITY

  • Server — Paper, Folia or Spigot, Java 21 or newer. One jar for all of them, region-aware on Folia.
  • Minecraft — 1.20.6, 1.21 up to the latest 1.21.x, and 26.1 to 26.3.
  • Storage — SQLite out of the box, MySQL or MariaDB for networks, and Redis to keep them in sync.
  • Optional hooks — PlaceholderAPI, and the custom item plugins listed above.
