The best plugin to create custom armor sets without needing to code.
Full Set Bonuses
Set effects switch on the moment a player wears every piece and switch off as soon as one comes off. Effects are powered by libreforge, so any effect, trigger or condition can be used, from extra hearts and regeneration to bow damage or boss slaying.
Unique Set Playstyles
Every set can change how a player fights, not just how much damage they take. The four example sets show it: Reaper hits harder, Angelic adds hearts and regeneration, Huntress trades melee damage for huge bow and trident damage, and Slayer is built to take down bosses.
Upgrade Crystals
Drag and drop an Upgrade Crystal onto any piece to change its tier. Tiers set armor, toughness, knockback resistance, speed or any other vanilla attribute per piece, and they stay active even without the full set.
Advancement Shards
Drop an Advancement Shard onto a piece to make it Advanced, unlocking stronger or entirely new set effects. Advanced pieces get their own name, lore, item components and equip sound, and their effects can replace the base set effects or add on top of them.
Tier Trees
Tiers can require earlier tiers, so you can build upgrade paths that branch into tankier or faster routes. Make a tier stackable to apply it again and again up to a limit, shown in lore as 4x ANCIENT or ANCIENT IV. Ten example tiers ship ready to build from.
Per-Piece Effects & Custom Models
Every piece can carry its own effects and conditions, and any vanilla item component, so you can give armor custom models, custom armor textures and enchantment glint. Sets can include an elytra that counts towards the full set, and each piece can have its own durability.
Partial Set Bonuses
Reward players for wearing only some of a set, with different effects at 2, 3 or more pieces. Partial bonuses can stack with each other and can switch off once the full set is worn.
Share Sets in One Command
Import armor sets made by the community, or export your own, with a single command through lrcdb. Lock sets behind conditions, and give pieces, crystals and shards with commands for crates, shops and quests.
The Most Integrations
When combined with the incredible capabilities of our plugin engine, eco, the libreforge effects system has more external plugin integrations than any other plugin ever released. Custom items, anticheats, protection/claim plugins, custom mobs, holograms - you name it, we support it.
Mathematical Expressions with Placeholders
Everywhere you can put in a number, you can put in a mathematical expression and use placeholders in it. Want to make a player's mining speed dependent on their y level? How about making their damage related to their economy balance? Any idea you have, no matter how insane, we support.
Animations and Particles
The effects system has native animation and particle systems so you can make your configs feel more reactive and alive. Visual and auditory feedback are just one effect away, allowing your creations to have a high budget feel without any of the cost.
Open-Source with Developer API
For developers and more advanced users, our effects system is completely open-source and extensible. Create your own effects, conditions, filters, slots, mutators, animations - if you've got custom plugins you want to hook up, you can do it with ease.
Customise Everything
Unlike other effect systems which lock you to simply mixing and matching effects and triggers, you'll be able to change literally every aspect to your liking. Blacklist and whitelist blocks, entities, items, and more, change messages, add cooldowns, delays, repeats, costs - you'll be blown away by how much you can make.
Persistent Variables
You can store data for players or for the server to use in effects or just to store in your database. You can create full currencies, mana systems, and anything else just by setting up the right effects. What's more, you can also store data inside item NBT, and we also include a full built-in item levelling system that you can customise to your liking.
Custom Placeholders and Macros
If you're worried about repeating yourself when making complex effect systems, we include full systems to make your own placeholders (fully integrated with PlaceholderAPI) and macros through our effect chain and effect argument systems. Even though all configs are written entirely in YAML with no special syntax, you can create entire programming systems without cluttering up your configs.
Powerful Custom Commands
Create commands that go far beyond simple execution — every command is backed by the full effects system, meaning you can run powerful and complex effect chains. Use them anywhere, and combine them with conditions to control exactly when and how they run, who can use them, and what happens in different scenarios — giving you complete freedom to build anything from simple utilities to complex, fully dynamic systems.
Powerful Config Builder
Stop fighting YAML. EcoHub's visual config builder lets you create libreforge effects with a simple drag-and-drop interface. Add effects, triggers, conditions, mutators, and filters without worrying about formatting errors, typos, or incompatible configurations. EcoHub automatically displays only compatible triggers for your chosen effect, and interactive formula sliders let you preview exactly how your effects scale. It's the fastest and easiest way to build powerful libreforge configurations.
