ToxicRain 3.0: Minecraft 26.x, warnings, antidote, safe zones
Big update this time. ToxicRain now runs on Minecraft 26.x, gets four new features and a bunch of fixes. Just replace the jar and restart, your old config files keep working.
New
- Supports 1.18 - 26.3 with one jar (tested on Paper 26.3, Paper 26.1, Purpur 1.21.11, Paper 1.18.2)
- Warnings before scheduled storms, titles and sounds on start/stop, boss bar with the time left
- Antidote item: cures the rain effects and gives temporary immunity (
/toxicrain antidote) - WorldGuard flags
toxic-rain and toxic-rain-decay, GriefPrevention claims don't decay - PlaceholderAPI placeholders (
%toxicrain_time_left%, %toxicrain_next% and more) - Scheduler accepts
HH:mm times and intervals like 1h30m, plus its own duration /toxicrain status, /toxicrain intensity, toxicrain.immune permission, Gas Mask preset- GUI texts moved to message.yml; missing message keys fall back to defaults, so old files are fine
Fixed
- A storm running during a restart now continues afterwards (before, it was saved as stopped on shutdown)
- Slabs, stairs, fences and glass panes now protect like a roof
- Rain particles were barely visible on servers with only a few players online
- Hazmat Suit enchantments weren't applied;
SLOWNESS didn't work on 1.18 - 1.20.4 - Renamed particles, effects and enchantments now work on every version
- Clearing the weather in a disabled world no longer ends the storm everywhere
- Scheduled times aren't skipped anymore when the server lags
- Item cleanup only removes items that are out in the rain, not under roofs or in claims
- Armor menu works on 1.21+ and keeps the order from
armor.yml 1h30m style durations, less console spam, no "rain stopped" message on reload
