Customize MC structure chest loot with vanilla items, MMOItems, chances, amounts.
This update improves the PLAYER-based MMOItems level system introduced in 1.3.0.
You can now apply minimum and maximum level limits, offsets, and fallback levels when generating MMOItems based on the player's RPG level.
PLAYER level configuration.level:
mode: PLAYER
min: 10
max: 100
offset: 5
fallback: 20
With this configuration, the plugin:
If the player is level 34 and the configuration contains:
offset: 5
The generated MMOItem will use level:
34 + 5 = 39
If the maximum level is:
max: 35
The final item level will be limited to:
35
Offsets can also be negative:
level:
mode: PLAYER
offset: -5
A level 34 player would generate a level 29 MMOItem.
You can define a fallback level:
level:
mode: PLAYER
fallback: 20
If GlobalStructureLoot cannot determine the player's RPG level, the MMOItem will be generated at level 20.
If no fallback is configured, the plugin keeps the previous behavior and uses the default MMOItems generation system.
All previous level configurations remain supported.
Fixed level:
level: 25
Random level range:
level:
min: 10
max: 30
Player RPG level:
level: PLAYER
Advanced player level configuration:
level:
mode: PLAYER
min: 10
max: 100
offset: 5
fallback: 20
Player-based levels continue to work with the unidentified item system.
The item level is resolved before the MMOItem is converted into its unidentified form, allowing the generated level to be preserved when the item is later identified.

This update focuses on compatibility with newer Paper versions and improves the project documentation.
Compatibility changes:
Documentation changes:
- Clarified how loot generation works.
- Updated information about compatibility with newer Minecraft/Paper versions.
- Clarified that GlobalStructureLoot modifies loot when the loot table is generated, not necessarily when the structure itself is generated.
Important behavior clarification:
A chest from an already-generated structure can still be affected by GlobalStructureLoot if its loot table has never been generated/opened before.
Once the chest loot has already been generated, GlobalStructureLoot will not modify it retroactively.
Notes:
- No configuration changes are required.
- Existing 1.1.0 configurations remain compatible.
- This update does not add new loot rule options.
- The same plugin JAR can be used on multiple supported Paper versions as long as the required API remains compatible.
This update adds a new filtering option: **per-rule dimension filters**.
You can now decide if a rule should only apply in the Overworld, Nether, End, or custom dimensions.
